Honey Fig

The Fig Boss describes this fig as “Nature’s Candy” – called the ultimate ‘fresh off the tree’ fruit.  Exceptionally sweet, this variety is named for its honey-like flavor.  The yellow/green skin encloses golden pulp; this is a luxury gourmet fig to savor.  Even when the growing season is short, Honey Fig will usually produce 2 crops – breba in late July & August, the main crop mid-September to mid-October.  Self-fertile  Ficus carica ‘Lattarula’  USDA Zones 7-10 Planted in 1 gallon pots
