Magnolia Fig

Known as  ‘Sugar Fig’ for its rich sweetness that’s been compared to a honey/berry flavor.  Magnolia figs are large and pear-shaped, strawberry pink inside. Great for artisanal cheeses, jams, canning, drying, and premium preserves. Magnolia Fig trees are ideal for organic gardens as the milky sap inside the tree acts as a natural deterrent to deer and most insects.  Self-fertile and fast growing.  Ficus carica ‘Magnolia’  USDA Zones 7-10 Planted in 3” square pots 5” tall.
